	LAB-Format By scanning into the CIE-LAB-format, SilverFast already aims at the future - device independent color - with PostScript Level 3 CIE-LAB, data will be automatically separated inside the RIP.
	New File Formats SilverFast now supports a total of 4 file output formats: TIFF, EPSF, DCS, and JPEG. You have the choice of either scanning or batch scanning directly into these file formats. The studio versions have JPEG2000 support with lossy or lossless 16 bit compression added.
	Predictable color with Photoshop SilverFast allows the preview image to match the final image in Photoshop. There is no color drift thanks to the color management system of SilverFast.
