LaserSoft Imaging has been supporting donation campaigns and charity projects in Germany and worldwide for many years. We would like to briefly introduce some of these projects to you.

Caritas international
In the event of crises and disasters, Caritas international is at the side of the weakest worldwide. Caritas international provides emergency and disaster relief for elder, sick and disabled people. They strengthen children and women and implement projects to protect the poorest from the consequences of natural disasters.

The registered German Life Saving Association (DLRG) is a non-profit and independent water rescue and emergency aid organization. As a basic principle, the DLRG personnel are voluntary helpers. Having over 560,000 members in around 2,000 local divisions, it is the largest voluntary water rescue organization in the world.

The Dr Rejntjes School for the Deaf in Sri Lanka has been teaching deaf students, whose parents are poorly educated and have a low income, for free since 1984. The organization establishes new buildings and equips each child with a hearing aid. All students experience a normal school program plus speech therapy.

The International Campaign for Tibet is the largest Tibet support group in the world. For more than 30 years it has served the vision of the Dalai Lama and the people of Tibet. The ICT helps Tibetans in their peaceful struggle for democracy and human rights and seeks to preserve Tibet’s ancient culture of wisdom.

Kindernothilfe is one of the largest Christian aid organizations in Germany. It has been working for children in need since 1959, currently in 32 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Kindernothilfe supports more than two million children and their families with sustainable development projects and provides humanitarian aid.

Mercy Ships is an international, Christian-motivated aid organization that has been operating hospital ships in developing countries since 1978. Their employees work on a voluntary basis and pay for board and lodging themselves. They provide help in the form of free surgeries, dental treatments, construction and agricultural projects, and training programs.

Oxfam is an international association of various aid and development organizations. Oxfam works worldwide to ensure that people in poor countries can create sustainable and secure livelihoods and that they have access to education, health care, drinking water and hygiene facilities, as well as support in the event of crises and disasters.

The Smile Train foundation is the first global children's aid organization with a sustainable approach to a specific, solvable problem: cleft lip and palate. Smile Train is committed to ensure that every child with a cleft can live a full life without restrictions. More than 1.5 million cleft surgeries have been performed since 1999.

Welthungerhilfe is one of the largest private aid organizations in Germany, politically and religiously independent. Since it was founded in 1962, it has implemented over 10,369 aid projects in 70 countries in Africa, Latin America and Asia with around 4.2 billion euros. Welthungerhilfe bears the donation seal of the German Central Institute for Social Issues.
