IMPROVED: SilverFast iSRD (dust and scratch removal)While scanning a slide, even the smallest scratches and dust particles become aberrations, that can't be ignored. Some scanners feature an additional infrared channel, which's data can be used for defect detection and elimination. The SilverFast iSRD dust and scratch removal works fully automatically or can be adjusted manually for optimum results. The new iSRD does even work with Kodachrome slides.
