SilverFast is multitasking capable. Thus, the user is never forced to
interrupt his workflow to wait for the scanner or a complex SilverFast calculation. For
example, if several originals should be scanned in a row, the user can already set the image
optimization adjustments of the second scan, while the scanner captures the first original.
Note: For using Multi-Tasking during a scanning operation to set the image optimization for the next image scan, a flatbed scanner is needed, since it can take several image originals at a time. Multi-Tasking can be used with other scanners only if multiple scan frames are used on individual imagess.
