The OpticFilm 7600i is a very low-priced scanner, Plustek introduced to the market in 2009 as the successor of the 7500i.
The 7600i’s Optical appearance and technical details are very similar to those of the predecessor, but there are some major internal improvements allowing the dust and scratch removal tool iSRD and SilverFast Multi-Exposure to work more effective.

I was looking for a high-quality film scanner that was priced significantly below Nikon‘s scanners. I didn‘t want to purchase a flatbed scanner with transparency unit, so I quickly ended up with the Plustek devices. After I read on the internet what SilverFast is capable to do, I decided for the Ai Studio version. So far, I am always very pleased with the results and I can recommend this product without any restrictions.
