Nikon has cancelled the support for its own scanner software, versions for the actual operating systems aren't existing. SilverFast is an alternative and an enhancement, that introduces a lot of new and valuable features for Nikon scanners.
  The new SilverFast 64bit HDRi RAW data format contains any recognizable image information - including the infrared channel's data for later image optimization.

Slide feeder SF-200 and SF-210 are not supported
As SilverFast uses NikonMAID drivers, some issues might occur due to actual driver incompatibility instead of SilverFast itself with Vista. Please check Nikon's statement concerning Vista support.
