A Must for Photography Enthusiasts in Prague

From November 3 to 9, 2025, the renowned photo retailer FotoŠkoda will once again host the popular FotoŠkoda FEST in the heart of Prague. As one of the largest photography festivals in the Czech Republic, it welcomes photographers and videographers of all experience levels.

The event features a diverse program of workshops, lectures, live demonstrations, and exhibitions-covering everything from portrait to landscape photography, both analog and digital. Leading brands and service providers will also be on-site with product presentations and expert advice.

SilverFast at the FotoŠkoda FEST

Petr Šálek will introduce you to the basics of scanning with SilverFast 9. As a professional photographer, he has many years of experience with digitizing analog originals. You will be able to try out the practical use of SilverFast on your own negatives, slides or photos (transparent originals from 35mm to 4×5″, photos up to A4 size). Scanning will be demonstrated on an Epson Perfection V850 Pro scanner.
