The MF 5000 is a medium format scanner, which scans 35 mm slides and filmstrips as wel as 20/220 mm, 6×4.5 cm, 6×6 cm, 6×7 cm, 6×8 cm, 6×9 cm and 6×12 cm (positive and negative). On its website, the manufacturer Reflecta explicitly recommends to use the MF 5000 in combination with SilverFast scanner software in order to further increase this device‘s efficiency.
The Reflecta MF 5000 uses a new 3-lines-CCD Sensor, features an optical resolution of 3200 dpi and includes film holders as well as an infrared channel. Combined with SilverFast you can expect excellent quality pictures.
