In case your SilverFast application does not start anymore please download the following tool to contact us. This has the advantage, that it will provide us with your SilverFast support files.

Please double-click the DMG to mount it. Execute the included SilverFast Support Tool.

Please double-click the ZIP archive and extract its content. Start the SilverFast Support Tool.

The MySilverFast account you are using does not currently contain a license for the scanner you are trying to use. Make sure that you are logged in with the email address you used to purchase the license.

Click on the "MySilverFast" tab in the SilverFast 9 welcome screen. Below your name you will see the email address with which you are logged in. If a different address is displayed than the one you used for the purchase, please click on "Log out" and log in again with the correct email address. sf9loginen

If you do not have a license for the device you want to use, you can purchase a license in our online shop directly from your MySilverFast account.

OSXOSX: SilverFast can not access my inserted CD and does not serialize.
Please unmount any external file mounts. The limited rights SilverFast uses do not allow the search of these. This might keep SilverFast from finding the CD if it comes later in the search queue.
