I do not know which workflow task I should use for my images.

For every use there is an individual workflow task.

Archive
This workflow creates 48/64bit HDR(i)* images. These are intended to be processed in SilverFast HDR (Studio). SilverFast HDR (Studio) is available on it's own and as part of our ArchiveSuite products.

*availability depends on Scanner Hardware.

Black and white
Creation and processing of B&W images. Including the transformation of the original RGB data into a single grayscale channel.

Color
The "Color" workflows apply to cross processed films. Or to images requiring a restoration or correction of their color values.

Edit
This workflow offers all tools available for the current "Source". It is used for guided manual processing including all possible steps.

Presentation
This workflow creates an image specially tailored for presentations.
For example in Keynote or PowerPoint.

Additionally "Presentation" outputs for certain devices are offered. These set the output size to the resolution and aspect ratio of common TV formats.

Print
This workflow creates images ready to be printed.

Quick fix
The "Quick fix" workflows offer a simple way to correct images which for example are to dark or too bright. Or images where you want to enhance the shadow detail.

Repair
The "Repair" workflows are intended to repair images which have a colorcast or are too dark for normal brightening. It also offers a special workflow for dust and scratch removal.

Web
The "Web" workflow creates images meant to be used on webpages.
