The DiMAGE Scan Elite 5400 was introduced to the market in 2003 with surprise of an optical resolution of 5400 dpi, that hasn’t been obtained before. The image quality is convincing, though, the Scan Elite isn’t the quickest film scanner, when compared to others.
Filmholders for scanning framed slides and fimstrips are included in delivery as well as a large software package. The Scan Elite 5400 works best with the lastest SilverFast version.
