Upgrades and/or new features activation

SymptomSymptom:
I bought an upgrade to a bigger version of SilverFast, or extra features for my already existing version of SilverFast. I have installed the new version, however I do not have the upgrade or my new features available.

SilverFast never asked for the new serial number to activate the new features.

ProblemProblem:
At start up, SilverFast searches after serial numbers written in your operating system, and starts with the one available, it will activate only those tools available for the previous serial number.

This is also the reason why it never asked for your new serial number after installing the new version or the upgrades.

SolutionSolution:
Click the button with the letter �i� on the upper left corner of the preview window to open the information window (see next detail)

The info window has a button named �credits�, please click on that button to see the serial number you are using, it is likely that your old serial number will be displayed on the lower part of the window, the "credits� button will change for "upgrade�. (see next two detail)

After clicking credits you will see something like this

After clicking �Upgrade� the serialization window will show up, please put the name and last name you used during your purchase as well as the new serial number and then click activate SilverFast (see next detail).

Your new features will now beavailable.
