SilverFast Ai Studio 9 is introduced on the Japanese website of Kansai-Syashinbu SHARE, which is based on the concept of "creating fun and sharing it with everybody".

The blog article features an interesting comparison of SilverFast version 8 and version 9.

User interface has been improved and is more user-friendly.
New scanner profiles have been added.
License management through new MySilverFast portal.
Up to two scanner changes allowed per license.

Kansai-Syashinbu shows his workflow with SilverFast Ai Studio 9 and an EPSON Perfection V850 (GT-X980) for scanning 35mm negative film. His conclusion: The software is easy to understand for first-time users and includes detailed instructions on how to install and use it.

If several images are in the correct position on the flatbed, time savings of up to 75% are possible while maintaining the same image quality. The German patent application pending ExpressScan is included with our SilverFast Archive Suite from version 9.1 and it is automatically activated for batch scans, JobManager scans and SAC scans (Single Archive Command), if the position of the scan frames allows it. Our example measurement with the Epson Perfection V850 illustrates the potential of this new functionality:
