Information about using SilverFast HDR 8 and HDR Studio 8 demo versions:

48bit HDR file: RAW data archiving format containing any readable image information the scanner can capture/ record.

64bit HDRi file: This is the 48bit file added to the data, extended with data the infrared channel has captured.

Try our archive workflow by downloading the SilverFast HDR 8 demo version and the HDRi test images. Install the software, start it and load a HDRi test image by clicking the "Open" button. Now you can extensively test the SilverFast tools for image optimization. You can even use our dust and scratch removal feature iSRD without needing to re-scan the original - for you have a SilverFast HDRi file!
