SilverFast 8 - List of supported scanners

SilverFast is adjusted to each scanner model individually. This is essential for utilizing the full potential of each single unit and for guaranteeing the high quality of SilverFast. For this reason, we may not be able to offer a SilverFast 8 version for all scanners that have previously been supported prior to the release day. We apologize for this and assure that we are working intensively on the integration of further scanners.
At release, SilverFast 8 will run natively on Intel Mac OS X systems from version 10.5 (including 10.7 Lion - no PowerPC) as well as under Windows 7, Vista and XP for the most important scanners. 32bit systems will be supported as well as 64bit machines, if the manufacturer drivers are allowing 64bit support. Older versions of SilverFast (from SilverFast 6.6 and older) will not run under Lion!
The integration of further models will be our main task in the next few weeks.
