This scanner stands head and shoulders above the previous scanners I´ve used. It is extremely easy to use, and the SilverFast software does a terrific job with optimizing the scanned images. This was personally recommended to me by an editor for Shutterbug magazine, and Im very pleased with my purchase. Ive been scanning transparencies, color negatives and bw negatives, and everything has been quite intuitive.
