SilverFast SE is a new solution from LaserSoft Imaging which combines the best of both worlds: high-end imaging technology for low-end scanners for a very low cost. The SilverFast SE ScanPilot will help the novice user to get the best workflow right from the start. Images will especially benefit from SilverFast's intelligent auto-adjust and LAB-based unsharp-masking, which does not sharpen the color noise of single channels, hence avoiding the extra noise. The new SF SRD® (Smart Removal of Defects) is a unique method of getting rid of dust and scratches. SF ACR® is the most comfortable way to bring faded out colors back to life. SilverFast SE NegaFix® has support for over 120 different negative film profiles and the ability to adjust film exposure in real-time.
