            <description><![CDATA[we use different profiles for transparency, reflective and Kodachrome.
These profiles are required for scanners if they are not calibrated with an IT8 target.
They are required even if a Scanner does not support a certain mode, thanthe profile is just a copy&amp;paste dummy.

please make sure you let the calibration targets you printed out dry for at least 24h before you calibrate them.

You should ask Canon support if the colormanagement is really shut off and no longer uses an internal color profile with the settings you used.

You only have to remember that the manufacturers software often only works in 24bit so stripes are sometimes not as clearly visible there.

I have a Reflecta RPS 7200. It can take a film strip into a feeder and batch-scan all the frames in it. Silverfast can do it OK when using standard 135 film, where frames are 24x36mm.

Richtig. Wahrscheinlich braucht den Scanner zwei Transport-Perforation auf beiden Seiten des Filmstreifens.

Genauer gesagt kann man den instamatic-Film soweit einziehen lassen, dass das 1. Bild im Arbeitsbereich liegt.
Instamatic-Filme sind so breit wie KB, also 35 mm. Nur ist die Transport-Perforation nur einseitig und hat andere Schrittweiten als KB.

You do have the possibility of creating raw files with your SilverFast SE version. You just have to select the 48 bit HDR mode and save your files as tiff.
