Microtek

Microtek successfully manufactures film and especially flatbed scanners, which often also feature a transparency unit, since many years.

Microtek offers different kinds of scanners suitable to various needs. The devices range from low priced models for beginners to big sized DIN A3 scanners for professionals. For perfect scans SilverFast is bundled with many scanners.
Microtek ScanMaker 9800 XL
The 9800XL is an A3 scanner (43,18cm x 30,48cm) with a resolution of 1600 x 3200 dpi and a transparency unit. The 9800XL features a 48bit sensor and is able to recognize a dynamic range of 3,7 Dmax.
