Heidelberg (Linotype-Hell)

Heidelberg has developed two very different kinds of scanners: Desktop flatbed scanners with transparency unit for negatives and slides on the one hand and high-end drum scanners for professional usage in the field of preprint on the other hand.

Today, SilverFast is the sole scanner software supporting Heidelberg drum scanners under actual operating systems.

G5 not supported, because SCSI communication with this scanner isn't reliable enough. With G4 Macs there are no such problems.
